Jeffrey Epstein Links With United Talent Agency
SCIO Verum Corporation, Jeffrey Epstein, and a 2018 Payment to United Talent Agency
Part 1 of Inside the Epstein Files: Literary Agencies, Talent Networks, and Documented Proximity
Public corporate records show that SCIO Verum Corporation was a Florida-registered entity widely reported in court filings and investigative journalism as one of the financial vehicles associated with Jeffrey Epstein.
Epstein was first arrested in 2006 and later entered a plea agreement in 2008 in Florida. He pled guilty to charges of soliciting prostitution and soliciting prostitution from a minor, serving approximately 13 months in custody and registering as a sex offender. He was arrested again in July 2019 on federal charges and died in custody the following month.
Between his 2008 conviction and his 2019 federal arrest, Epstein continued operating through various corporate entities, including SCIO Verum Corporation.
Many morally sound and ethical companies and individuals cut ties with the convicted sex offender and all his companies after his conviction.
However, we are seeing an abundance of morally unsound and unethical companies and individuals who carried on their relationships with the creature who continued soliciting prostitution from minors.
One of the companies who did business transactions with Epstein’s company was United Talent Agency in 2018.
The questions we should be asking are:
1. What was this payment of services for?
2. Was it Illegal?
3. Did it involve minors or prostitution?
4. Why were United Talent Agency taking payments from a Convicted Paedophile?
5. Should law enforcement be investigating United Talent Agency and CEO Zimmer?
6. Is the talent pool of United Talent Agency ok with this connection or will they find a company without connections to Jeffrey Epstein and a pending RECO case hanging over them?
The 2018 Payment
Financial documentation shows that on April 23, 2018, SCIO Verum Corporation issued a payment of $5,000 to United Talent Agency (UTA).
The timing is notable:
The payment occurred more than a decade after Epstein’s initial arrest.
It took place roughly ten years after his conviction and imprisonment.
It occurred during a period when his prior criminal history was publicly documented.
The existence of a payment does not in itself establish misconduct. Corporate entities may engage agencies for legitimate services, including representation, advisory work, booking arrangements for time with talent, or production-related activity.
However, the fact that the payment originated from an entity widely reported to have been controlled by Epstein and happened long after he was known to be a Sexual Predator On The Prowl For More Victims places the transaction within a reputationally sensitive context.
Furthermore, if United Talent Agency did provide talent to spend time with Epstein, would this make them an illegal brothel of high class escorts? Even if they didn’t, and they provided talent for a different purpose, such as promotion, it still raises questions about UTA booking their talent out to a sexual predator long after his convictions.
Why Timeline Matters
· Transactions involving high-profile individuals with prior convictions of paedophile related crimes can, and should, attract retrospective scrutiny, particularly after subsequent criminal proceedings renew public attention.
· The documented 2018 payment from SCIO Verum Corporation to UTA sits within that broader timeline. Clarification of the purpose and nature of the transaction would determine whether it was routine or otherwise.
· Without further documentation, the transaction remains a matter of factual record and public interest due to its timing and context.
UTA’s CEO Jeremy Zimmer
Jeremy Zimmer was the CEO of UTA when this Epstein transaction took place in 2018. He was also the CEO who oversaw a merger with Curtis Brown Group and then sold private equity shares to EQT. During this period where alleged pumped up assets were sold, CBG and UTA had been informed of pending litigations for a RECO case and allegations of systemic copyright violations of the M.W. Wolf Catalogue of fiction, yet they allegedly proceeded in dumping shares, continuing to violate the stolen assets, sold these assets to Disney, Netflix, Amazon and others, and maintained litigation silence and ignorance.
In March 2025, Jeremy Zimmer “stepped down,” with a nudge, as CEO of United Talent Agency after 13 years in the role, transitioning to Executive Chairman while President David Kramer was named his successor. Though publicly framed as a planned succession, multiple industry reports suggested the move followed growing frustration within UTA’s board, particularly private equity stakeholders.
A central source of tension was UTA’s 2021 $125 million acquisition of MediaLink and the subsequent legal battle with its founder, Michael Kassan. Both sides filed claims alleging breach of contract and financial misconduct, and the dispute reportedly cost the agency millions in legal fees and reputational damage. By mid-2025, the parties reached an amicable settlement, with no terms disclosed.
Zimmer’s exit marked a broader strategic pivot at UTA, from aggressive expansion and acquisitions toward consolidation and a renewed focus on core representation under new leadership.
However, with a RECO pending, and allegations of defrauding stakeholders at EQT, and ties to payments from Epstein, and more Epstein files to be released, I’d say Zimmer’s time of exposure and atonement hasn’t even begun yet.
Other talent agencies tied to the Epstein files
Other Talent agencies have been connected to Epstein files. I will be posting a blog about CBG and Felicity Blunt very soon.
In February 2026, Casey Wasserman, chairman of the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games and CEO of the Wasserman Group, faced significant professional fallout after his name appeared in newly released Jeffrey Epstein files. A search of Casey Wasserman in the Epstein files gives 87 Results. A quick scan of these documents show flirty and sexual messages back and forward between Wasserman and Ghislaine Maxwell. Sounds to me like Wasserman had some kind of sexual thing going on with Ghislaine Maxwell.
Just a couple of examples:
